So, I was just glancing over my site as from time to time I am prone to do, and I re-chuckled at some of the pictures in my “from my phone” section. Then I got to thinkinking of how whenever I’m perusing the various blogs I frequent I sometimes see really funny shots that I bet had funny stories behind them. Or maybe just interesting pictures w/ interesting stories behind them. At any rate, here is the first “From my phone: explained”. (In case you’re completely lost at this point, scroll down the page untill you see the “from my phone” section on the right hand side of the page. It’s just a series of photos I’ve taken with my phone recenetly.)
~ This is my eldest duaghter, Cadence hanging out at the beach. She digs holes in the sand, as beach goers are apt to do, lets the water fill it up, then calls it the “tubby”. Super cute.
~ The next one is a bunch of good ol’ boys in Mt. View Arkansas. You might recall that post last month where I talked about the town my buddies Adrian and Joell from Silver Service recently moved to. The folks in this town literally hang out around the town square and the park just playing guitar. People here either play music or listen to it for entertainment. These guys were apparently famous from way back… at least that’s what the guy in the big, white cowboy hat said. I believe him: no one who plays a washtub bass wouldn’t make things up.
~This is me and Chloe Zarb, Pauly’s eldest daughter. She said she wanted to show me a funny face so I said we should probably take a picture of it.
~ This is a sign posted on the front of the local liquor store in Bardstown Ky. “We don’t know your 21…” as opposed to my 21.
~ This is Lucy, my pal Nate Kannady’s youngest daughter. That’s definitely one of the cooler things about touring: seeing all my old friends and their growing families scattered across the country.
~ The sign out front of Pat’s Blue Rib’n in Manhattan Ks. I think they ran out of Cs… as well, $3.50 for a pitcher, unbelievable!
Peace, hope and love.
