April Fool

whoopie-cushion Well that day kind of blew past me in a haze of non-sleeping and new-daddiness. I remember days like St. Patty’s and April Fools were a lot bigger when I was a kid. You never missed an opportunity to pinch someone and not get in trouble. And April Fools, I mean come on, the options for mischief are endless. But to be honest, I can’t really remember one good gag I’ve done. I remember I had a buddy who glued his brothers shoes to the ceiling. I think those kind of pranks are kind of lame though, not really clever. Do any of you have any good prank stories?

Peace, hope and love.

  1. Congrats! When is the next Emmans due?

  2. I remember reading about how, on April Fools day some years ago, Taco Bell once announced that they were buying the Liberty Bell and renaming it the Taco Liberty Bell, or something like that. I got a kick out of that one.

  3. (@ Colette Ashley) Thank you!! And, probably this time next year.

(@thejambi) The Taco Liberty Bell huh? Sounds like the Federal Auto Industry…

  4. In my home town of Auburn, California, there are these huge statues of naked Indian women and a naked guy chained to a wall. I remember one April Fools day some people put clothes on the statues. Pretty impressive if you think about these suckers being 40 to 50 feet high.

  5. Haha, that’s an awesome one – clothing the statues.
